Calibrated slate: What it is and propertiess

The slate is a metamorphic rock, dense, fine-grained, formed from sedimentary rocks, igneous rocks. Composed of thin sheets or layers. The minerals that form it are sericite, muscovite, chlorite and quartz. They are usually black, greenish, greyish, but there are multicolored varieties. Due to its impermeability, the slate is used in the construction of roofs, such as paving stones and even for the manufacture of bathroom elements.
